Materials & Industries

With a wealth of experience and projects under our belt, we are fortunate and proud to have worked across a wide variety of industries. From concept to completion, we always work closely with all clients to meet their needs and ensure the finished product is always of the highest level of quality. Throughout these projects, we have worked with different materials to achieve the desired results, which has added to our ability to advise clients on the best approach to their projects.

Our skilled staff are always happy to share their knowledge in the world of CNC machining. We aim to offer a no-nonsense approach to each product providing an efficient but precise service to suit all of our customers needs whilst remaining on budget and on time.

Materials we work with:

Aluminium is often a popular choice for CNC projects since it is lightweight, strong, recyclable and resistant to corrosion. Thanks to its strong and lightweight properties, it is often used in the aerospace industry.

Brass is easier to cut at higher speeds without damaging the tool in use. This means that we can produce brass components with a quicker turnaround than using other materials, which also helps to keep the costs lower.

Steel can come in many forms. It can be rolled into sheets, bars, plates and more. Steel is resistant to corrosion, has good strength, and its ease of cleaning makes it an ideal material for cookware and surgical use.

Copper has many uses, mainly as a conductor of heat and electricity. Popular within the building trade but can also be used for other applications where heat or electricity have to be considered.

Other materials: The above materials are the most common materials used within CNC Machining. However, we also work but are not limited to various grades of Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Aluminium Tooling Plate, Tool Steel, Mild Steel, Bronze, Peek, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Acetal, Ceramic, PTFE, PVC, Ertalyte/Ertalyte TXr.

If you don’t see the material you require mentioned above, this doesn’t mean we can’t work with it. Please get in touch with us to describe your requirements, and I am sure we will be able to accommodate your needs.
